Sewing goals and sew-along update

I decided to join Suzie in her "12 in 2012" sewing propositions! Having some precise goals will definitely help me to be more productive, although deadlines stress me very easily, so I hope I won't break down under pressure :)

I'd say I'll have my hands full for 2012!
And as announced in the title of this post, I have news about the sew-along. Unfortunately, it's bad news. I know I had given it for certain, but January and February are going to be VERY busy months for me and I need to prioritise. This means I'll have to focus on university stuff and I really don't want to take a commitment I might not be able to fulfill.
Again, I'm very sorry. But, as written above, there's going to be a sew-along sooner or later this year, (we'll decide whether to use the same pattern). I hope this is enough to be forgiven :)

And what about you? What are your sewing goals for this year?

  1. Wow I'm so excited about your to-do list. Can't wait to see the results. This is just the inspiration I've needed to get mine down in writing for all to see. Good luck!

  2. What wonderful goals. As for pushing the Sew-Along back, I would have an easier time following along a little later in the year anyway. Good luck with all of your work and accomplishing all of these goals!

  3. Wonderfully ambitious goal that I look forward to following!

  4. Those sounds like wonderful goals! I look forward to seeing what you do for the sew-a-long - whenever it might be.

  5. This is going to be such a great sewing year. I'm doing the bombshell dress too (ehm.. sometime!) - very excited about that!

  6. Anna - welcome aboard! So excited that you are joining in with the 12 in 2012 challenge, and your goals look brilliant. Looking forward to following your developments!

  7. @Cirque Du Bebe
I'm glad it inspired you! It was the same for me with Suzie's list.

Thank you! And I'm glad about the sewalong :)

Great! I can't wait to see how yours will look like. I made a muslin last year and I know I have quite a few alterations to make, so I'm a little scared :P

Thank you for making this challenge, it was a great idea! Good luck to both! :)

  8. What a great list of goals! I'm so excited to see what you do! I just may have to sit myself down and get organized too!

  9. @sallie oleta barbee
Yup, organization is good! I need to convince myself and do more lists for every day life...

  10. Great post and such inspiration. I should also start making lists and taking them a little more seriously I guess :o)

  11. hey Anna- and you joined our challenge! Great!!!! I never thought of a WILDCARD option- should repost my lists, maybe even assign a page for them. Love targets! BTW Thanks for La Mia Boutique Post. You wouldn't be able to scan the two pages with all models ( technical drawings- you know what page I am talking about!)

    1. I had to include some wildcards, no way I could plan a whole year of sewing. I change my mind every 5 minutes...
There's a link to a Flickr set with the technical drawings at the end of the post!
